Ukrainian charity fund Hope UA has been providing assistance to military personnel and victims since the first days of the full-scale invasion of Russia into the territory of Ukraine.
In two months, entrepreneurs and volunteers involved in the Hope UA fund were able to transfer more than 2,000 tons of humanitarian aid worth more than 4 million dollars.
The next goal is the construction of social housing for forced migrants. For this project, the fund is looking for partners both in Ukraine and abroad. We talk about the activities of the fund and its plans in the material of channel 24.
History of the Hope UA fund
The Hope UA Fund was created immediately after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine with a group of dedicated entrepreneurs from various industries, says the head of the organization, Roman Hrynkevich. They understood that they had to provide a reliable rear for the military on the front line. Currently, the fund employs about 50 people. More than 2,000 tons of humanitarian aid of various types, worth more than 4 million dollars, passed through the warehouse of our fund, in particular, about 3,500-4,000 bulletproof vests and 2,500 helmets. From the beginning, the fund operated on its own funds, and now it begins to collect donations from benefactors.
"From the beginning, our goal was cooperation with official partners to provide high-quality humanitarian aid, medical and tactical equipment. We currently cooperate with more than 15 countries, including the World Central Kitchen and Spirit of America foundations. In Ukraine, our partner is the foundation " I am Volnovakha, who delivers humanitarian aid to people in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions," says Roman Hrynkevich.

The fund is looking for land plots for construction, as well as partners for construction - in Ukraine and abroad.
"This week we will present this project in Europe - in Lublin, Krakow, Brno, Prague, Bratislava, Vienna, we will meet with businessmen, politicians, journalists. According to our plan, the construction should take from 2 to 5 months, but it will not be temporary , and permanent housing with a guarantee for 50-100 years. We want our people to live in decent conditions, so these neighborhoods will have the necessary infrastructure - a kindergarten, a supermarket, a pharmacy, a dispensary, a post office, a cafe," says Roman Hrynkevich.
